Financial Analyst – IFRS & SAP Expertise

About the role

The Financial Analyst will support financial reporting and general ledger activities within the Finance & Administration team. This individual contributor role focuses on delivering accurate accounting outputs, ensuring compliance with IFRS and timely month‑end and year‑end closes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
• Prepare balance sheet, income statement and cash flow reports.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close, recording journal entries, accruals and adjustments.
• Analyse variances and explain fluctuations in financial results.
• Manage lease records and apply IFRS 16 calculations for right‑of‑use assets, lease liabilities, interest expense and amortisation.
• Review, code and process vendor invoices, expense reports and payments; maintain AP/AR aging schedules.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls and company accounting policies.
• Assist internal and external audits and support tax and regulatory filings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting or accounting.
• Strong analytical mindset, methodical and detail‑oriented.
• Ability to work independently with high accuracy and accountability.
• Advanced written and oral English communication skills.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of IFRS, especially IFRS 16 lease accounting.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX‑MATCH, data modelling).
• Inventory management experience.
