Family Doctor – Private Practice (Urban)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Family Doctor to join our urban private practice clinic. The role involves delivering comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, fostering long‑term health relationships, and contributing to the wellbeing of the community.

Key responsibilities

• Collect medical histories from patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
• Examine patients to diagnose diseases, injuries, and health conditions.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Coordinate care with specialists and other medical practitioners.
• Provide acute care management and chronic disease follow‑up.
• Offer counseling and support on health, lifestyle, and preventive measures.
• Report births, deaths, and notifiable diseases to public health authorities.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) with licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
• College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) or equivalent.
• Commitment to delivering patient‑centered care in an urban setting.
