Entry Level Underground Miner & Haul Truck Operator – FIFO

About the role

Diavik Diamond Mine is seeking entry‑level underground miners and haul‑truck operators for its Lac de Gras site in the Northwest Territories. The positions are full‑time, fixed‑term and operate on a two‑weeks‑on/two‑weeks‑off FIFO schedule, allowing you to work in a world‑class diamond mining environment while contributing to safety and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Operate underground mining equipment and haul trucks safely and efficiently.
• Support the extraction, transport and loading of ore within the mine.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in daily safety briefings.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any issues to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.

Required profile

• Willingness to work in a remote FIFO environment.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in underground conditions.
• Commitment to safety and sustainable mining practices.
• Ability to work on a rotating two‑week schedule.
