Emergency Medicine Physician (Full/Part Time)

About the role

The Mission Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a full‑time and/or part‑time CCFP‑qualified physician with emergency department experience. You will join a physician‑run community hospital that delivers 24/7 emergency care to roughly 30,000 patients each year.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality emergency medical assessment, treatment, and disposition for adult and pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of general practitioners and EM‑certified physicians.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and ensure continuous coverage of the emergency department.
• Utilize onsite diagnostic services, including X‑ray, ultrasound, and CT imaging, to support clinical decision‑making.

Required profile

• CCFP (or equivalent) with additional EM training preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working in an emergency department.
• Current CPSBC US‑certified class of registration acceptable.
• Commitment to delivering patient‑centered care in a community hospital setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in emergency medicine protocols and procedures.
• Ability to interpret bedside imaging and laboratory results.
• Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
