Emergency Medicine Physician (Full/Part‑time)

About the role

The Mission Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a full‑time and/or part‑time physician with CCFP certification (with or without additional Emergency Medicine training) and emergency department experience. You will join a physician‑run community hospital that provides 24/7 emergency services to the Mission area.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality emergency care to approximately 30,000 annual visits.
• Collaborate with a team of GP‑trained emergency physicians and support staff.
• Utilize on‑site diagnostic equipment including x‑ray, ultrasound and CT scanner.
• Participate in patient assessment, transition, and discharge planning for the PATH unit.
• Contribute to the hospital’s community health initiatives and uphold patient safety standards.

Required profile

• CCFP certification (Emergency Medicine training preferred).
• Current CPSBC US‑class registration acceptable.
• Demonstrated experience working in an emergency department.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, culturally safe care.
