Emergency Medicine Physician (Full/Part Time)

About the role

The Mission Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a full‑time and/or part‑time CCFP‑qualified physician with emergency department experience to join a physician‑run community hospital serving the Fraser Valley region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality emergency care to approximately 30,000 annual ED visits.
• Collaborate with a team of GP‑trained physicians and EM‑certified doctors.
• Utilize onsite imaging services, including X‑ray, ultrasound and CT scanner, to diagnose and treat patients.
• Participate in the 25‑bed inpatient unit and 20‑bed Patient Assessment and Transition Home (PATH) unit as needed.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to CPSBC registration requirements.

Required profile

• CCFP certification, with or without additional Emergency Medicine training.
• Demonstrated experience working in an emergency department.
• Eligibility for CPSBC US‑certified class of registration.
• Commitment to inclusive, culturally safe patient care.

Required skills

• Familiarity with X‑ray, ultrasound and CT imaging interpretation.
