About the role
The YMCA of Three Rivers is seeking a dedicated Early Years Educator to join our Waterloo Region team. This full‑time, permanent position involves delivering high‑quality, child‑centred programming for children aged 0‑12, following our Playing to Learn and Place to Connect curricula.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and evaluate daily activities that align with the Playing to Learn (0‑6 years) and Place to Connect (6‑12 years) curricula.
- Provide a safe, nurturing environment that supports each child’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, observations, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with families, staff, and community partners to enhance program quality.
- Adhere to health, safety, and licensing standards at all times.
Required profile
- Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) or Early Years Educator (EYE) certification.
- Availability to work shifts between 7:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday‑Friday.

Required skills
What we offer
- Competitive starting rates: $23.50 / hr (EYE) or $28.00 / hr (RECE), inclusive of provincial and regional funding.
