Director, Pharmacy

About the role

The Pharmacy Director will lead pharmacy services across Brant Community Healthcare System’s two sites in Brantford and Paris, Ontario. Reporting to senior hospital leadership, you will ensure safe, high‑quality medication management for both acute and transitional care patients while advancing the system’s strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all pharmacy operations, including inpatient, outpatient, urgent‑care and transitional‑care services.
• Develop and implement policies that align with regulatory standards and the organization’s core values.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve medication safety, clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Lead budgeting, staffing and resource allocation to meet service demands.
• Drive quality‑improvement initiatives and support research and education programs.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist with a valid Ontario license.
• Proven leadership experience in a hospital or health‑system pharmacy setting.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations, accreditation standards and best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
