Director of Operations

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to steer the performance of our franchise network across Canada. Based in Toronto, the Director of Operations will combine operational oversight with regional marketing strategy to drive growth, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies that improve growth, profitability and customer experience across assigned markets.
• Act as a trusted advisor to franchise owners, supporting new openings, ownership transitions, renewals and relocations.
• Monitor business performance, create action plans and manage regional operating budgets.
• Lead field operations teams to ensure consistent application of company standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with training, finance, marketing, real‑estate and other support functions to achieve business objectives.
• Design and implement annual regional marketing programs to increase customer acquisition, retention and market share.
• Analyze marketing performance and customer trends to optimise spend and ROI.
• Manage relationships with agencies, media partners and vendors for effective campaign execution.
• Lead special projects and strategic initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and franchisee success.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations or a related field.
• Extensive senior‑level experience in franchise or multi‑unit operations management.
• Proven track record of driving operational performance and market growth.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with franchise owners and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Canada and occasionally to the United States.
