Director, Incentive Programs

About the role

The Director, Incentive Programs is a senior leader responsible for the strategy, design, reporting, and administration of all variable compensation and incentive programs across Fairstone Bank. The role oversees the full incentive lifecycle, ensuring plans are simple, transparent, and tightly aligned with the organization’s goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and enhancement of incentive and variable compensation programs to align with business priorities and performance culture.
• Establish performance metrics and scorecards for all levels across the branch network.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend changes for clarity, fairness, and cost efficiency.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to reinforce desired behaviors and support talent strategy.
• Develop and manage a modern reporting ecosystem, delivering timely and actionable insights.
• Build dashboards for performance results, payout forecasts, and incentive progress.
• Use data and analytics to model plan changes, forecast payouts, and assess ROI.
• Support Finance with accruals, budgeting, and financial impact analysis.
• Oversee end‑to‑end administration, including processing, validation, auditing, and communication.
• Maintain documentation, plan rules, governance standards, and ensure compliance with internal policies.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience designing and managing incentive or variable compensation programs.
• Strong partnership skills with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to translate data into clear insights for leaders and employees.
• Experience building reporting and dashboard solutions.
• Knowledge of financial impact analysis and budgeting for incentive spend.
