Director, Digital Payments

About the role

This senior position leads the Digital Payments portfolio for the Canadian market, shaping strategy and delivering innovative, secure payment experiences. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams across North America and globally to drive adoption and improve efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage a select portfolio of digital payment products, including tokenization, authentication, Click‑to‑Pay, and Buy‑Now‑Pay‑Later solutions.
• Define product strategy based on customer needs, market trends, competitive analysis, and regulatory considerations.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to create Canada‑specific go‑to‑market plans and execute them.
• Set portfolio objectives, establish KPIs, monitor performance, and adjust tactics to meet targets.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert, representing the team at customer workshops, partner events, and industry conferences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
• Proven product leadership experience in the digital payments ecosystem.
• Strong analytical ability to translate digital strategies into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive results independently.
