Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

As a member of Xanadu’s newly formed cybersecurity team, you will translate high‑level security strategy into day‑to‑day technical actions. Working at the intersection of IT infrastructure and core R&D, you will protect valuable intellectual property while keeping innovation moving fast.

Key responsibilities

• Tri­age and analyse alerts from the MDR provider, following up with users until resolution.
• Act as the first responder for all cybersecurity incidents and produce detailed incident reports.
• Deliver security awareness sessions for all employees.
• Perform application security audits and implement required controls.
• Write cross‑platform scripts to automate patching of reported CVEs without disrupting workflows.
• Refresh existing security policies and create new ones in collaboration with internal teams.
• Participate in disaster‑recovery planning, tabletop exercises and validation.
• Research and evaluate new tools or solutions with the IT team to improve the overall security posture.

Required profile

• BSc in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 1‑2 years of experience in a cybersecurity or IT role.
• Experience drafting security policies aligned with recognised frameworks.
• Strong analytical mindset, detail‑oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
