Cook 1 (AM) – Early Morning Shift

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Cook 1 to join our kitchen team on early‑morning shifts. You will be responsible for preparing breakfast and lunch dishes that meet our quality and presentation standards, while supporting banquet service when required.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute breakfast and lunch menu items efficiently.
• Maintain consistent quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Assist with banquet preparation and service as needed.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards.
• Coordinate with restaurant and banquet operations to meet forecasted covers.
• Suggest daily specials using seasonal or special‑order ingredients.

Required profile

• Previous breakfast cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to work early morning shifts (5 am weekdays, 6 am weekends).
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Team‑oriented attitude with the ability to multitask under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Food preparation techniques.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to prepare sauces, soups, and hot entrees.
