Construction Project Coordinator

About the role

Froude Management Inc. (FMI) is seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to support a variety of ICI construction projects from start to finish. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure all construction procedures are organized, timely, and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with overall administrative functions across multiple projects.
• Manage subcontracts and coordinate with engineering design teams and field staff.
• Handle project administration tasks such as RFIs, submittals, schedule updates, and change order administration.
• Support planning and preparation of construction schedules, monitor progress, and report milestones.
• Assist the pursuit team in preparing bid documents and proposals.
• Facilitate contractual changes with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of quality‑control programs.
• Prepare progress reports and issue schedules to the Superintendent and Project Manager.
• Assist in tendering processes and awarding subcontractors.
• Support the Superintendent in supervising subcontractor activities on site.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years progressive experience in construction project coordination in Vancouver, BC.
• Demonstrated competence in leadership, safety, people management, project execution, cost control, quality, and administration.
• Proactive problem‑solver capable of managing difficult situations.
• Strong knowledge of local construction regulations and practices.
