About the role
Techo-Bloc, a leading North American hardscape manufacturer, is expanding its sales team. The Commercial Sales Representative will cover Montreal and the North Shore, with occasional trips to the Maritimes, focusing on industrial, commercial, and institutional landscaping projects.
Key responsibilities
- Qualify leads generated by marketing, trade shows, and direct contacts.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Manage a portfolio of commercial landscape contractor clients.
- Advise architects, engineers, and designers on product selection and provide technical support.
- Collaborate with the sales team to close commercial deals.
- Use project software to monitor competitor activity and upcoming opportunities.
- Host “lunch and learns” to boost brand awareness.
- Maintain the CRM pipeline, identify specification opportunities, and prepare bids.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Bilingual in English and French; English required for U.S. clients.
- Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience.
- Experience working with engineering, architectural firms, municipalities, or developers.
- Strong negotiation, organization, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
- Willingness to travel 40‑60% of the time.
