Class 1 Truck Driver – Metal Transport

About the role

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Class 1 Truck Driver to transport metal materials to clients and internal sites. The role involves operating heavy‑duty trucks, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Transport metals to various client locations and AIM facilities.
• Conduct pre‑trip inspections and ensure vehicle readiness.
• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
• Operate different types of heavy vehicles as required.
• Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers.

Required profile

• Valid Class 1 FM driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Minimum two years of relevant driving experience.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
• Good physical condition to handle loading duties.
• Reliability, punctuality and respect for equipment.
