Category Manager (Special Projects & Partnerships)

About the role

As a Category Manager for Special Projects & Partnerships, you will lead the execution of strategic, non‑core product initiatives such as collaborations, SMUs and OMUs. Reporting to the VP of Product Design & Innovation, you will turn creative partnership ideas into commercially successful assortments while ensuring seamless delivery from concept to launch.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle of all non‑core product projects, including collaborations, SMUs and OMUs.
• Act as the primary category lead for assigned partnerships, translating partner requirements into cohesive, commercially viable line architectures.
• Manage the special‑project product mix to align seasonal stories with line plans and regional distribution needs.
• Own the operational setup and upload of partnership collections into partner portals, guaranteeing accurate technical data and imagery.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to synchronize commercial positioning, pricing, and launch timing for limited‑edition drops across global systems.
• Ensure cross‑functional alignment and operational excellence across Product Design, Development, Sourcing, and other internal teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product, partnership or category management within a consumer‑goods or retail environment.
• Strong ability to translate creative concepts into commercially viable product assortments.
• Excellent project‑management skills with a focus on operational execution and cross‑functional coordination.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative, in‑person environment.
