Career Educator – Beyond Tomorrow Scholars Program

About the role

The Career Educator supports UBC students, especially those in the Beyond Tomorrow Scholars Program, to become career‑ready graduates. The role blends in‑person and online learning to connect students' talents and interests with the evolving world of work.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, deliver, and evaluate career‑building experiences for students.
• Collaborate with faculties, academic departments, student affairs, and program teams to embed career learning in experiential and co‑curricular activities.
• Expand student engagement with employers, alumni, and community partners, with a focus on Black student communities.
• Improve and curate digital career resources and online content.
• Support strategic planning, administration, assessment, and evaluation for the program.

Required profile

• Experience working with diverse student populations and higher‑education partners.
• Strong understanding of career development principles and identity‑informed learning.
• Ability to create inclusive, community‑connected learning experiences.
