About the role

Join BASF Agricultural Solutions as a Canola Seed Production Summer Associate for a 4‑6 month contract during Summer 2026 in Outlook, Saskatchewan. You will support field‑scale trials and innovative seed production methods while earning $24‑31 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in plot and field scale trials for the Certified Seed Supply team.
• Evaluate innovative canola seed production methods to improve seed quality and yield.
• Manage field activities and collect data from multiple sites in Southern Alberta.
• Execute agronomic practices such as planting, spraying, crop synchronization, mowing, harvesting, and sample processing.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Problem‑solving ability and comfort working independently when needed.
• Flexibility to adapt plans to changing conditions.
• Experience with farm equipment (highly desired).
• Agronomic knowledge through a degree program in Agriculture or a related field, with some experience in the agriculture or farming industry.
