About the role
Peninsula Canada is seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager to expand its HR and Health & Safety outsourcing solutions across small and medium‑sized businesses. This field‑based, new‑business sales position focuses on building relationships with owners, directors and HR decision‑makers.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively generate new business opportunities, referrals and appointments.
- Attend meetings booked by a dedicated telemarketing partner and your own self‑generated leads.
- Develop and nurture relationships with referral partners and introducers.
- Deliver consultative, value‑based sales presentations to senior decision‑makers.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and consistently exceed quarterly targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams while thriving in a fast‑paced, high‑energy sales culture.
Required profile
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven record of new‑business success.
- Confidence selling to business owners, directors and HR leaders.
- Consultative, value‑driven sales style.
- High energy, resilience and a strong desire to win.
- Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Required skills
What we offer
- Base salary $60,000‑$75,000 CAD.
- Uncapped commission with top earners reaching $400,000+ annually.
