AZ/DZ Driver – Full-Time Hourly

About the role

Clearwater Municipal Services is seeking an experienced and safety‑focused AZ/DZ Driver. After successfully completing the probationary period, the hired individual will be signed with LiUNA Local 183.

Key responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic repairs to ensure optimal operation.
• Maintain accurate driver logs and documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Carry out labouring tasks and duties throughout the shift.
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities.
• Communicate effectively with team members.

Required profile

• Valid AZ/DZ driver’s licence with a clean abstract and CVOR.
• Physical ability to perform labouring work throughout the day and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Positive attitude and solid work ethic.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

What we offer

• Starting pay of $35.64 per hour.
• Monday‑to‑Friday schedule with day shifts; occasional night shifts or weekends as needed.
• 10+ hour shifts with overtime opportunities.
• 30‑40 % out‑of‑town work, limited to two weeks at a time, with weekends at home.
