Associate Lawyer – 2+ Years Experience (Edmonton)

About the role

Robert Half Legal is partnering with leading law firms in Edmonton to identify associate‑level lawyers with 2‑10 years of post‑call experience. The position offers the chance to join a firm that aligns with your preferred practice area, culture, and compensation goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client files from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, contracts, opinions, or settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in litigation or transactional matters across practice areas such as Litigation, Corporate & Commercial, Labour & Employment, Family, Indigenous, and Wills & Estates.
• Maintain and develop client relationships while providing strategic legal advice.
• Work autonomously while collaborating with senior lawyers and partners.

Required profile

• Called to the bar in Canada and residing in Edmonton or willing to relocate.
• Minimum of 2 years post‑call experience, up to senior associate level.
• Proven ability to run files independently and deliver high‑quality legal work.
• Strong client‑service orientation and reliable work ethic.
