Assistant Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our restaurant. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will help ensure smooth service, maintain high standards of safety, and deliver excellent customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor daily restaurant operations.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate daily service activities.
• Recruit, train, and schedule staff members.
• Maintain inventory levels and oversee stock control.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Address customer complaints and provide timely resolutions.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service throughout the dining experience.
• Assist in planning and managing special events.

Required profile

• College, CEGEP or equivalent diploma (1‑2 year program).
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work on‑site and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
