Android Developer (Hybrid, Brampton)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Android Developer to join our hybrid team in Brampton. You will design and build high‑performance mobile applications using Kotlin, delivering seamless user experiences across Android devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin.
• Write clean, efficient code following best practices and design patterns.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high‑quality features.
• Optimize app performance and ensure responsiveness on a variety of devices.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and SDKs, and conduct unit testing.
• Participate in code reviews and stay current with Android development trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and the Android SDK.
• Experience with Jetpack components such as ViewModel, LiveData, and Navigation.
• Solid understanding of MVVM architecture and design principles.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and mobile databases like Room or SQLite.
• Knowledge of Git version control and Play Store deployment processes.
