Accounting Software Trainer – Dealership Systems

About the role

PBS Systems is seeking an Accounting Software Trainer to deliver onboarding and ongoing training for its Dealer Management System (DMS). Based in Calgary, the role combines virtual classroom sessions with on‑site visits to dealerships across Canada, the United States and the Caribbean.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual and in‑person training on the accounting module of PBS’s DMS.
• Support new client software installations and act as a primary installation resource.
• Maintain accurate customer data in internal systems and update documentation as processes evolve.
• Identify client needs, build strong relationships, and ensure training expectations are met.
• Document tickets, investigate issues, and escalate to appropriate teams when necessary.
• Prioritize tasks independently and respond promptly to internal and external training requests.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel up to two weeks per month across Canada, the US and the Caribbean.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative installation team.
• Strong communication skills for delivering clear, engaging training sessions.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on data accuracy and documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PBS Dealer Management Software (accounting module).
