Training Manager

About the role

Freshslice, Canada’s leading pizza‑by‑the‑slice franchise, is seeking a Training Manager to design and deliver training for new franchise partners. You will play a key role in supporting rapid expansion by ensuring franchisees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to run successful locations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and deliver comprehensive training programs covering operations, customer service, product preparation, health & safety and business management.
• Create and maintain training manuals, presentations and other learning materials.
• Facilitate hands‑on workshops, simulations and classroom sessions for new franchisees.
• Assess training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics, and adjust programs as needed.
• Provide ongoing mentorship and support during the initial onboarding period.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a corporate trainer, preferably in the food‑and‑beverage or retail sector.
• Excellent communication skills with high enthusiasm and energy.
• Ability to engage, motivate and create a positive learning environment.
• No specific educational credential required.
