Teaching Assistant – Introduction to Aerospace Engineering (Fall 2026)

About the role

The University is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Fall 2026 offering of AERO 401 – Introduction to Aerospace Engineering. The TA will support the course supervisor in delivering high‑quality instruction and student support throughout the term.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the professor in coordinating guest lecturers and course logistics.
• Prepare, grade, and review homework sets, quizzes, and exams.
• Conduct and lead tutorial sessions for enrolled students.
• Read and become familiar with course materials and content.
• Communicate with students via the MyCourses platform regarding assignments and course information.

Required profile

• Current graduate student enrolled at McGill University.
• Familiarity with the AERO 401 curriculum.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work on the Montreal campus.
