Software Engineer – Fully Remote

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our remote team on a contract basis. The role involves developing and enhancing enterprise software across a wide range of programming languages. You will work independently, delivering high‑quality code to meet project deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and complete coding tasks in various enterprise languages.
• Evaluate and improve systems and build toolchains using C and Rust.
• Enhance enterprise JVM ecosystems with C#, Kotlin, Scala, and Swift.
• Optimize production web and operations scripting with Ruby, PHP, and Perl.
• Advance scientific and quantitative computing using R.
• Work asynchronously and independently to meet project timelines.

Required profile

• Strong professional experience in at least one of the listed domains.
• Deep understanding of language internals, tooling, and real‑world production constraints.
• Ability to reason about edge cases, performance, and system‑design trade‑offs.
• Detail‑oriented with strong written feedback skills.
