Senior Manager, Environment, Health and Safety

About the role

This senior‑level position leads the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) function for a multi‑site portfolio across North America. Reporting to senior client executives, you will shape strategy, ensure regulatory compliance and drive a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary EHS authority for the account, liaising with client and internal leadership on safety performance and risk.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve EHS programs across multiple sites.
• Lead regulatory compliance, maintaining hazard assessments, PPE standards and site‑specific compliance registers.
• Manage incident reporting, investigations, root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action tracking.
• Oversee training strategy, create training matrices and deliver safety presentations.
• Track and report safety metrics, including OSHA recordkeeping and incident management system administration.
• Support environmental compliance initiatives and broader operational compliance programs.
• Lead and mentor a small team of EHS professionals while contributing to regional and enterprise safety initiatives.

Required profile

• 10+ years progressive experience in EHS roles with supervisory or management responsibility.
• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene or related field.
• Professional certification such as CRSP is a strong asset.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑site EHS programs in complex, regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of North American environmental, occupational health and safety regulations.
• Experience leading incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action implementation.
