Senior Associate – HR Business Partner

About the role

As a Senior Associate, HR Business Partner within Ford of Canada, you will act as a strategic bridge between business leaders and specialized HR functions. You will use data‑driven insights and operational expertise to support a high‑performing, compliant workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with department heads to provide research, analytics, and advisory support for people and culture decisions.
• Facilitate communication of HR program updates, policy changes, and benefit offerings across regions and functions.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end onboarding, induction, and off‑boarding processes, including exit interviews.
• Support talent initiatives such as hiring, performance management, rewards, and succession planning.
• Plan and organize employee engagement activities, wellness programs, and company‑wide events.
• Manage administrative workflows for employee transactions, background checks, and status changes.
• Track and analyze HR metrics (engagement, absenteeism, turnover) and prepare monthly/quarterly dashboard reports.
• Identify data inconsistencies, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR business partnering or a similar advisory role.
• Strong analytical abilities and comfort working with HR data and metrics.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple employee‑life‑cycle processes simultaneously.
