Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead our month‑end close process and ensure the accuracy of our financial records. The role involves preparing financial statements, analysing balance‑sheet accounts and supporting audit activities while collaborating with business partners across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly financial close, including journal entry processing and general ledger accuracy.
• Produce timely monthly financial statements and internal/external reports.
• Review and analyse balance‑sheet accounts on a regular basis.
• Identify, analyse and investigate variances, working with business partners at various levels.
• Prepare and record payroll journal entries.
• Support year‑end audit functions, prepare schedules, liaise with auditors and perform reconciliations as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of full‑cycle accounting experience.
• Experience in a public accounting firm is highly valued.
• Ability to manage large volumes of financial data.
• Self‑motivated, organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables and other advanced functions.
