Quality Engineer – Test Automation (Remote, Canada)

About the role

StackAdapt is looking for a Quality Engineer who is passionate about software quality and test automation. You will join a cross‑functional agile team and help ensure the reliability of product releases by building and maintaining automated tests.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated functional, API, UI, integration and regression test scripts using frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Mocha, Jest or JUnit.
• Collaborate with Platform, Product, DevOps and other teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and run them on test environments.
• Provide timely test result feedback to stakeholders and participate in technical planning, code reviews and architectural decisions.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on test automation experience.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies for short release cycles.
• Experience writing edge‑case, compatibility and concurrency test cases.
• Familiarity with relational databases and ability to query large data sets.
