Project Architect

About the role

Kasian is seeking a motivated Project Architect to join its Langley office. You will lead design efforts on wood‑frame multi‑family projects, provide technical expertise, and mentor junior staff while delivering high‑quality built environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project criteria, scopes, work plans, drawing lists, schedules, and resource requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create design concepts, presentation material, and push design boundaries to meet client and end‑user needs.
• Lead, motivate, and manage the project team to produce successful design and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants (electrical, mechanical, structural) and resolve complex design and technical issues.
• Manage client relationships, ensure efficient resource management, and achieve scheduled milestones.
• Conduct site reviews and provide construction administration support.

Required profile

• B.Arch or M.Arch from an accredited program with at least 10 + years of architectural experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on wood‑frame multi‑family projects.
• Registration with a provincial regulatory board is a strong asset.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and a forward‑thinking design approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit for technical drawing and documentation.
