About the role
Calian is seeking a qualified physician to join the Women & Diversity Health (WDH) Section within Force Health Protection. The Health Services Policy Analyst will advance evidence‑based public health initiatives that address the unique health needs of women and diverse members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
Key responsibilities
- Strengthen public health surveillance and incorporate diversity‑informed data.
- Conduct research that informs risk reduction and public health policy.
- Design and evaluate initiatives targeting sex, gender, and diversity‑related health risks throughout the service lifecycle.
- Assist with performance measurement, impact evaluation, and continuous program improvement.
- Provide policy analysis to ensure programs are equitable, inclusive, and evidence‑based.
- Integrate sex, gender, and diversity considerations into health frameworks and operational goals.
Required profile
- Medical degree from an accredited program.
- Certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
- Minimum five years of clinical experience in a military primary‑care clinic.
- Experience reading, interpreting, and writing CAF medical policy.
- Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level.
