Maintenance Technician – Hospitality Property

About the role

Join the Wickaninnish Inn, a Relais & Châteaux property on Vancouver Island, as a Maintenance Technician. You will support the inn’s high‑service standards by keeping guest rooms, public areas, and grounds in excellent condition while delivering personalized guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance of guestrooms and public spaces.
• Handle landscaping duties and general grounds work.
• Execute project work such as painting, carpentry, and equipment upkeep.
• Maintain a schedule‑based preventative maintenance program for interior and exterior building elements.
• Service the bicycle fleet and manage furniture restoration and repair.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, often on short notice.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with experience interacting with guests.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and working in varied weather.
