Junior Site Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Site Supervisor to support our construction projects across the Greater Toronto Area. Reporting to a Senior Site Supervisor, you will help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Supervising and controlling all aspects of the work at the project, providing professional leadership for all site activities.
• Scheduling, coordinating and participating in all field reviews and site inspections.
• Ensuring adherence to all relevant safety policies, practices, procedures, rules and regulations.
• Managing projects from start to completion, keeping them on schedule, under budget and meeting quality/contract standards.
• Inspecting completed jobs to address deficiencies and communicating out‑of‑scope work to Contract Administration.
• Performing accurate field measurements and reporting to relevant parties.
• Documenting errors and notifying responsible parties in writing with supporting documentation.
• Maintaining strong relationships with internal project team, clients, consultants and trade contractors.
• Communicating crew needs for transportation, equipment and material resources.
• Acting as liaison between field operations and contract administration, attending meetings as required.
• Maintaining detailed records of site events, including notes, photographs and reports.
• Ensuring field crews log their working hours daily.
• Reviewing and approving or denying field logs to monitor hours and minimize slippage.
• Managing a snow route during winter operations, which may require overnight work.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Effective time management and ability to adapt to a fast‑paced work environment.
• High degree of professionalism.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Bid2Win (B2W) software (asset).
