IT Support Engineer

About the role

Stripe is seeking a Tier 1 IT Support Engineer to join its Corporate Technology Services team. You will provide in‑person, thoughtful, and individualized technical assistance to employees, contingent workers, and vendors across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical assistance for hardware, software, and system issues via in‑person, email, Slack, or ticketing channels.
• Run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and implement solutions for macOS, Chrome OS, iOS devices and peripherals.
• Support and maintain critical SaaS tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Facilitate laptop provisioning for new hires and manage fleet upgrades.
• Assist with onboarding, training curriculum, and off‑boarding processes for employees and third‑party vendors.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records and documentation for internal teams and Scale employees.
• Provide support for office technology including printers, Zoom Rooms, and room scheduling systems.

Required profile

• Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative on tickets and contribute to project design.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the capacity to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to guide users through troubleshooting steps and follow up on resolutions.

Required skills

• Experience with macOS, Chrome OS, iOS devices and related peripherals.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Ability to run diagnostic programs and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Knowledge of IT asset management and documentation practices.
