HR Generalist (Part Time)

About the role

Rentsync is seeking a part‑time HR Generalist to provide day‑to‑day administrative and operational HR support. Working 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling during standard business hours, the role partners closely with the HR Manager to ensure smooth execution of core HR processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with drafting, posting, and managing job advertisements; screen resumes and coordinate interview logistics.
• Prepare employment agreements, new‑hire paperwork, and onboarding schedules; set up new hires in HRIS and payroll systems.
• Maintain accurate employee files, update HRIS records, and support benefits administration.
• Serve as first point of contact for routine employee inquiries and help document employee‑relations matters.
• Support policy implementation, compliance tracking, and training documentation.
• Contribute to HR projects such as engagement initiatives, performance‑cycle administration, and handbook updates.

Required profile

• Available to work 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling during standard business hours.
• Based in Canada; preference given to candidates able to report regularly to the St. Catharines or Toronto office.
