About the role
We are seeking a caring and reliable Home Child Care Provider to join our family in Edmonton on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will be responsible for the daily well‑being, safety, and development of children aged 6‑12 years in a home environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide full‑time supervision, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and preparing children for rest periods.
- Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and maintain a safe, healthy home environment.
- Assist with homework, emotional well‑being, and social development of the children.
- Transport children to school, appointments, and accompany the family on trips while handling childcare duties.
Required profile
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Criminal record check and references required.
- Strong client focus, reliability, patience, and good judgment.
- Flexibility, initiative, and excellent time‑management skills.
Required skills
- Current CPR Certificate.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
