Guest Services Supervisor

About the role

The Guest Services Supervisor leads the Bell, Concierge, and Bike & Ski Valet teams at Sun Peaks Resort, ensuring smooth arrivals, departures, and recreational experiences for guests. This hands‑on leader drives front‑desk efficiency, coordinates luggage and equipment handling, and supports concierge services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership across all shifts, covering AM, PM, and night schedules as needed.
• Oversee Bell, Concierge, and Bike & Ski Valet operations, ensuring high service standards.
• Manage luggage, equipment, valet, and storage processes to maintain guest safety and satisfaction.
• Coach and motivate team members, fostering a culture of exceptional guest service.
• Collaborate with the Guest Services Manager to implement performance improvements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a front‑office or customer‑facing hospitality role.
• Strong understanding of guest service processes and hotel operations.
• Post‑secondary education in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field is an asset.
• Valid BC Class 5 driver’s licence.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, lift up to 75 lb (34 kg), and perform occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, and stair climbing.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with hotel property management systems; knowledge of Versa is a plus.
