Food Co-worker

About the role

We are looking for a Food Co‑worker to join our IKEA restaurant team. You will prepare and present food, ensure quality and freshness, and provide excellent service in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food according to daily forecasts and maintain high quality standards.
• Display food products attractively and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Meet daily and weekly sales targets for top‑selling items.
• Act as an IKEA Ambassador, delivering great customer experiences and sharing product knowledge.
• Follow IKEA safety standards, food waste programs, and health‑and‑safety guidelines.
• Assist co‑workers with tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail, especially regarding expiry dates.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a physically demanding, fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑oriented with a can‑do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Health‑and‑safety conscious, never cutting corners.
• At least 6 months of customer service experience in a similar setting (preferred).
