Emergency Medicine Physician (Full/Part-time)

About the role

The Mission Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a full‑time and/or part‑time physician (CCFP with or without additional EM training) to join our experienced emergency team. You will work in a physician‑run community hospital that provides 24/7 emergency services to the local population.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients presenting to the 24/7 ED.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of GP‑trained emergency physicians.
• Utilize on‑site diagnostic equipment, including X‑ray, ultrasound and CT scanner, to assess and manage acute conditions.
• Participate in patient assessment and transition home (PATH) unit operations.
• Contribute to the hospital’s commitment to inclusive, culturally safe care.

Required profile

• CCFP certification (US‑certified registration acceptable).
• Experience working in an emergency department.
• Ability to work full‑time and/or part‑time schedules.
• Commitment to the values of diversity, respect and planetary health.

Required skills

• Proficiency with on‑site X‑ray equipment.
• Ultrasound imaging skills.
• CT scanner operation.
