DevOps Engineer – Multi‑cloud CI/CD & Infrastructure

About the role

AltaML is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join its cloud infrastructure and delivery engineering practice. You will own the design, implementation, and operation of multi‑cloud environments across Azure, AWS, and GCP, enabling development teams to ship software quickly and reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, and GCP with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation).
• Operate containerized workloads with Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE) and Docker.
• Implement cloud security controls, including IAM policies, network segmentation, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.
• Create and maintain observability stacks (logging, metrics, alerting) using Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana/Prometheus.
• Collaborate with software and ML engineering teams to define deployment strategies and reduce release risk.
• Evaluate and introduce tooling improvements to boost reliability and developer productivity.
• Participate in incident response, post‑mortems, and documentation of runbooks and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers on cloud and DevOps best practices.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3–6 years of progressive DevOps, cloud engineering, or SRE experience.
• Hands‑on experience with at least two of Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Proven ability to build production‑grade CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong expertise with Terraform; familiarity with Bicep, Pulumi, or CDK is a plus.
