Course Lecturer – Physical Education Curriculum and Instruction (Fall 2026)

About the role

The Department of Kinesiology & Physical Education at McGill University is seeking a qualified Course Lecturer to teach the Physical Education Curriculum and Instruction course (EDKP 332) in the Fall 2026 term. The position involves delivering in‑person instruction to undergraduate students in the Currie Gymnasium.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver two weekly lecture sessions (Wednesday 11:35 am‑12:55 pm and 1:05 pm‑2:25 pm) covering principles, programs, and procedures for elementary PE curriculum design.
• Prepare and update course materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a respectful and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with department faculty on curriculum development.

Required profile

• B.Ed. in Physical Education or equivalent teacher education qualification.
• Minimum five years of teaching experience in Quebec schools.
• At least five years of work experience with the Quebec Ministry of Education.
• Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.
