About the role
Renesas is seeking a Corporate Account Manager to lead high‑impact distribution engagements across the Americas. The role combines relationship building with data‑driven strategy to grow the semiconductor business and exceed sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve and surpass sales budgets and other critical business objectives.
- Develop deep understanding of distributor point‑of‑sale (POS) data to support internal forecasting.
- Own distributor POS, inventory, and bookings performance.
- Create and execute business plans that leverage Renesas’ value proposition and distributor strengths.
- Build strong relationships with distributor personnel and conduct regular business reviews at Business Unit and Executive levels.
- Collaborate with Renesas Mass Market sales team to align goals and drive field‑level strategies.
- Design and manage demand‑creation programs that motivate distributors to design‑in Renesas products.
- Coordinate product training programs and support new product introductions.
- Gather market intelligence and develop actionable strategies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 5–10 years of account management, distribution sales, or business development experience in the electronic component industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage complex distribution engagements.
