Client Relationship Manager – Retirement & Insurance

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to serve its Canadian retirement, insurance and sub‑advisory clients. The role will act as the primary point of contact across the full client lifecycle, supporting both sub‑advised and separate‑account relationships while collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Canadian retirement, insurance and sub‑advisory clients.
  • Maintain ongoing engagement with Strategic Account Managers to understand needs and identify opportunities.
  • Support pre‑ and post‑sale activities including RFP processes, presentation development and business development.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams (legal, compliance, trading, product, etc.) to meet client requirements.
  • Provide comprehensive client service: resolve inquiries, respond to auditors/consultants, ensure compliance, verify eligibility, and track invoices.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual client materials for reporting, due diligence and contract renewals.
  • Communicate and escalate significant client issues appropriately.
  • Contribute to client‑focused projects, regulatory initiatives and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

  • 5–7 years of experience in asset management, preferably with client relationship management responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of investment capabilities, service offerings and operating models.
  • Ability to build and maintain cross‑functional relationships across sales, investments, product, marketing, operations, finance, legal and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on delivering high‑quality client experience.
  • Experience handling RFPs, due‑diligence reporting and contract renewal processes.
