Warehouse & Yard Teammate

About the role

EMCO Corporation is seeking a Warehouse and Yard Teammate to join its fast‑paced distribution team. You will help keep the yard and warehouse running smoothly by moving products safely, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting order fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety procedures.
• Pick, pack and fill customer orders using yard and warehouse inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and warehouse areas.
• Operate material‑handling equipment, including forklifts, as required.
• Assist with inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow).

Required profile

• High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow instructions.
• Willingness to complete 40+ hours of training each year.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb regularly.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (experience or willingness to be trained).
