Violin Lessons Teacher (Independent Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Violin Lessons Teacher to join our on‑site Lesson Centre in Saint‑Georges, QC. The position is an independent contractor role, offering flexible hours on weekdays, weeknights and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one‑on‑one and group violin lessons to students of all ages.
• Prepare and follow a structured curriculum aligned with standard teaching methods.
• Maintain a professional learning environment within the Long & McQuade Lesson Centre.
• Adapt lesson plans to meet individual student progress and goals.

Required profile

• Possess a music degree or diploma from a recognized university or college, OR a minimum Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments professional equivalency.
• Demonstrated teaching experience with students of various ages.
• Strong knowledge of standard teaching methods and lesson curriculum for private or group settings.

• Violin performance and instruction.
