Truck Driver – Long Haul & International Routes

About the role

We are seeking a reliable truck driver to operate straight or articulated trucks on local, long‑haul, and cross‑border routes. The role involves transporting goods safely, handling paperwork, and providing professional customer service while minimizing fuel consumption and emissions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and adjust routes using GPS and navigation tools to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo, including dangerous goods, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Obtain special permits and documentation required for international transport.
• Perform pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections, including brake adjustments, tire checks, and equipment maintenance.
• Conduct emergency roadside repairs and preventive maintenance as needed.
• Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
• Address customer complaints and provide courteous service.
• Coordinate with central dispatch and relay information promptly.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school) certificate.
• Valid AZ class driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel cross‑border and handle frequent travel.
• Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lb) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and strong judgement.
