Truck Driver

About the role

H.P.C Transport Ltd. is looking for a reliable Truck Driver to join its Edmonton team on a full‑time permanent basis. The role involves transporting a variety of goods on both local and international routes while maintaining strict safety and regulatory standards. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided. Successful candidates will work closely with central dispatch to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Obtain special permits and documentation required for international cargo.
• Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
• Communicate and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Tarp and secure cargo to ensure safety and security.
• Transport and handle dangerous goods in compliance with regulations.

Required profile

• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and routes.
• Organized approach to paperwork and record‑keeping.
• Team player who collaborates effectively with dispatch and colleagues.

Required skills

• Air Brakes Endorsement.
• Class 1 (or A) driver’s licence.
• Ability to handle dangerous goods safely.
